FIRST READING
Isaiah 2:1-5
Verse 1. This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. Verse 2. In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.
PSALM
Psalm 122
Verse 1. I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."
Verse 2. Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.

Matthew 8:5-11
Verse 5. When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. Verse 6. "Lord," he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering."
